	Aim: The objective of the course is to provide an overview of environmental conservation technologies used today. Also "Cleaner Production" aspects will be brought up. The aim is to give the student a comprehensive view of how environmental concerns are incorporated in production, usage and waste handling. Different effects on the environment caused by human activities are scrutinized and discussed at seminars. Biological and chemical aspects are treated only when necessary for understanding of the technology. Prerequisites: Environmental Science wished but not compulsory. Waste disposal methods such as incineration, composting, biogasification and landfill. Both household and industrial waste will be considered. Purification techniques especially for polluted air. "Cleaner Production" and improvement of processes. Environmental measurement technology, handling and valuation of data. Recycling and environmentally adapted product development. LAB1	Attendance at 3 out of 4 educational visits. Attendance at the presentation of the assignments.
