Aim:
To be experienced with modern methods and instrumentation for data aquisition and signal analysis.

Prerequisites:
TFMÄ01 Measurement technology, Y. TSIT64 Signal Theory Y, TSTE83 Analogue circuits

Course organization:
Lectures sandwiched by experiments

Course content:
Instrument and methods for frequency analysis, especially in real time. Correlation and coherence measurements. Design of data aquisition systems with busstandards. Contraction of interface and programming of PC-based systems for stimuli-response measuring systems. The experiments deal with signal detection, correlation measurements, signal analysis with frequency analyser and PC, construction of interfaces for microprocessors and measurement systems.
