Basic course in mathematical statistics. | Organisation: Relevant concepts are taught and discussed in a seminar series. Each student selects a subject together with the examiner and writes a self-contained summary in English. Advice will be given both individually and in some seminars. |

| Course contents: Market-driven requirements engineering, formal methods for requirements, software maintenance, reuse, software metrics, models for predicting quality and cost of software, domain-oriented software engineering, tools for development processes, empirical research methods, professionalism and ethics. |
