Aim:
After the course the student
- is able to describe and discuss relevant models and theories about leadership
- is able to analyse the role of leadership in a changing, complex and global organisational context
- is able to apply knowledge about leadership and reflect on theories and models of leadership in practical exercises and case studies

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
Industrial Management, Corporate Organization or corresponding relevant knowledge about general models and theories about organizations.
Note: Admission requirements for non-programme students usually also include admission requirements for the programme and threshhold requirements for progression within the programme, or corresponding.

Organisation:
The course is based on lectures, seminars, practical exercises, report writing and an oral examination.
|

Course contents:
The course focuses on leadership i a modern organisational context. Vi treat important leadership issues in connection with cross-functionality, organisational change, and cultural differences.

For the grade 3 or higher it is necessary to pass all the parts of the examination. Det first goal of the course is examined in MUN1, the second in UPG2 and the third in UPG1. |
