Aim:
The aim of the course is to give knowledge on the principles and methods of computer generation of synthetic images, animations and interactive graphical applications.

Prerequisites: (valid for students admitted to programmes within which the course is offered)
Linear algebra. Programming knowledge.

Organisation:
Lectures, lab exercises and a project.
The course runs over the entire spring semester.

Course contents:
Introduction to OpenGL.
Threedimensional graphics: object representations, geometric transformations, projection, perspective, hidden surface removal.
Realism: illumination models, raytracing, radiosity. Real-time animation. Collision detection. Shader programming with GLSL.
