The course applies an individual examination of each student which, however, is mainly based on the project group's ability of meeting the course aims. A project group, and thereby all its members, is given the grade "pass" if the follwing three goal have been achieved
- All project and course documents agreed upon have been delivered at the agreed upon timepoints.
- All agreed upon requirements have been met.
- All agreed upon presentations of the project have been made.
Each member of a project group is required to document his or hers work in the project, including in which way the member has contributed to the work of the group and its achievements of goals. In the case that the entire group cannot be given the grade "pass", as described above, indivudual grades "pass" can be given based only on the members' ability to document that their work meets the aims of the course.
Examination can normally be made only on work which is made during the stipulated course period. Additional work after the course period cannot be made in order to compensate for bad project management.
