CONTENTS
Leadership
Leadership is developed from the own, personal leadership to organisation level. Good leadership begins in leading oneself, the own leadership. Secure leadership based on the value-system of the leader creates trustworthy leaders that do not adopt a role that completely differs from the values of the individual. A secure leader is created through good rhetoric, which is another tool for leading a group in a professional manner. Other aspects of leadership processed in the course are, among others, the invisible parts e.g. safety, planning and long-term planning.

Experience
A good experience for the guest/participant is one where everything works and what happens behind the scenes is never noticed. This module focuses on the things the guests should not see, only sense. An experience is based on a location and its qualities but the location needs to be interpreted and deciphered in order for us to create the experience. When the narrative/foundation is laid it is time to build the structure in the form of good logistics - the right thing at the right place at the right time, from planning to delivery. The experience product should be sustainable from a nature, culture and staff perspective. It should also provide opportunities for learning and personal development. The meal is included as a part of the whole.

Economics
Economy contains more than just budgets and pricing, which of course are included in the module. Brand development and marketing along with quality assurance are equally important parts.
TEACHING
The teaching takes the form of lectures, seminars, field trips, study visits and own practical work. The education is located in different environments in Gothia, where practical leadership is practised. The assignments are carried out as group work and individual work. As the course is given outside campus, course meetings with overnight stays paid by the participants are included.
EXAMINATION
A continuous examination consists of a reflection assignment linked to the activity at each course date, which might take the form of group presentations. A presented final assignment in the form of an individual project is required to pass the course.

Students failing an exam covering either the entire course or part of the course two times are entitled to have a new examiner appointed for the reexamination.
