AIM OF THE COURSE
Students should, as a result of the course,

- acquire further knowledge of the subject Drama Communication
- develop their personality and test their values and attitudes
- by role creation work on norms and values
- acquire knowledge of how to develop a group
- test and reflect on leadership within the subject
- go deeper into a chosen area within Drama Communication
CONTENTS
The course provides further theory and practice in drama communication. A field-based project accounted for in the form of an essay is included, as is collaboration and self-assurance training with a focus on group dynamics as well as using the stage as a tool. Folk-tales and myths are used in a didactic and social perspective.
TEACHING
Course-work has an empathetic orientation to enable the student to gain deeper knowledge of all aspects of the course. Studies are characterised by experience-based creativity and reflective work in teacher-led and non-teacher-led forms of work such as
- practical exercises with discussion of experiences
- literature seminars
- tutorial guidance
- self study
EXAMINATION
Written and oral presentations in groups and individually. Documentation of teacher-led instruction and work in groups. In-depth studies of the subject through literature with a field study to be presented in the form of a report.

Students failing an exam covering either the entire course or part of the course two times are entitled to have a new examiner appointed for the reexamination.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admission to the course requires completed Drama Communication A with at least 5 credits passed.
GRADING
The course is graded according to the ECTS grading scale A-F
CERTIFICATE
Course certificate is issued by the Faculty Board on request. The Department provides a special form which should be submitted to the Student Affairs Division.
COURSE LITERATURE
The course literature is decided upon by the department in question.
OTHER INFORMATION
Planning and implementation of a course must take its starting point in the wording of the syllabus. The course evaluation included in each course must therefore take up the question how well the course agrees with the syllabus.

The course is carried out in such a way that both men´s and women´s experience and knowledge is made visible and developed.
