- Cultural Heritage as a Social Phenomenon, 7.5 HE credits
This module covers the cultural heritage and its definition. This means providing knowledge of how cultural heritages and cultural identities are created, communicated, used and changed. The question of what and who decides when phenomena become worth seeing, coveted and noticed is problematised. The same applies to how tourism and the market influence the contents and communication of the cultural heritage. The relationship between gender and cultural heritage is highlighted, as well as how the cultural heritage has been used or abused over time.

- Natural Heritage as a Social Phenomenon, 7.5 HE credits
This module covers the natural heritage and its definition. The understanding of conservation work, sensitive environments and legislation is covered, as well as health issues and sustainability perspectives connected to tourist-related activities. The focus is mainly on the connection between natural and cultural heritage.

- Project Description, 3 HE credits
The student should describe a tourist-related field as an introduction to a more extensive tourist-related project.

- Project Report, 12 HE credits
On the basis of an actual or prospective project around tourist-related contents, the student should account for cultural and scientific aspects of tourism.
