Aim: The course presents the fundamentals of heat transport and appplied thermodynamics with the emphasis on technical applications.Prerequisites: TFKI 77 Physical chemistryCourse organization: Lectures, tutorials and laboratory workCourse content: Main laws of thermodynamics. Heat pumps and refrigeration. Thermodynamics of steam. Technically important cycle processes ( steam turbines and gas turbines). Heat ransport ( conduction, convection and radiation).
