Aim:
The course will give basic knowledge of analysis, design and implementation of analog and digital control systems. The course will also give a base for analysing nonlinear systems.

Prerequisites:
TNDE 62 Automatic Control, introductory course.

Course organization:
The teaching consists of lectures, exercises and laboratory work.

Course content:
Control with discrete-time controllers. Sampling of systems. Implementation of controllers. Configuration of control systems. Process identification. Autotuning and adaptive control. Controllability and observability. Reconstruction of the state vector. Linear quadratic optimal design and state estimation. Multivariable systems. The circle criterion. Describing function.
