Aim:
The purpose of the course is to provide skills in the dimensioning and design of fluid systems adapted for computer control. Further, the course provides knowledge of industrial project planning and organization. Modern analytical tools in the form of simulation programs are used, as are computer based input and control.

Prerequisites:
TMHP 20 Fluid power systems, TSRT 15 Automatic engineering M.

Course organization:
The course is held over three periods parallel to the other courses in the block Fluid power systems, prerequisite. Field trips are also included.

Course content:
The course is carried out in the form of a project, particularly an industrial project. The project contains aspects of both analysis and synthesis of fluid power systems. Design and dimensioning are carried out based on static and dynamic properties. System simulation: modeling of fluid and mechanical components included in the system under consideration as well as methodology for simulating these in a complete system.
