Aim:
The course should give skill in application of electrical and optical measurement methods.

Prerequisites:
3 years of mathematics (E) and physics N,T (or equivalent) both lowest degree 3

Course content:
Looking at the most frequent types of electrical measuring device. Static and dynamic characteristics with different types of pointer intruments. Measurement with special oscilloscope types (time-base with sweep delay, differential amplifier, sampling oscilloscope, storage oscilloscope etc). "Normaler" for voltage resistance etc. General wave motion. Interference and diffraction. Polarization. Optical filter. Lasers. Electrooptics. Optical measuring device. Detectors and signaltreatment. Measuring of state, dimension, velocity and vibrations and als studies of surface, wire diameter, particle size, fiber course etc with help of laser. Manufacturing and application of hologram.
