Aim:
The student should be able to classify and recognize an amount of organisms within important plant and animal groups.

Prerequisites:
Accepted to the educational program of biology with participation of Chemistry 1 (20p), biologycourses of 20p according to Biology 1 (or equivalent).

Course organization:
Theory as well as field and laboratory work. Comprehends studies at field stations (or similar).

Course content:
Techniques and models for classification and identifying important vascularplants and animals. Look at the most important animals and plantgroups. Include collection, classifying and studying of typical species for different rates.
