| Aim: To acquire a basic knowledge about ethical theories and principles. To obtain an overview over and recognize ethical questions and problems. To get the ability of applying ethical analysis methods on ethical problems, especially those related to technical development. Reflect on engineer's ethical responsibility.Course organization: According to the handbook of studies part 1.Course content: - To work with ethical problems: methodical aspects, decision theory - Normative ethical theories and principles - Technical development and moral responsibility - Historical and current technical-ethical case studies - Ethical criteria for technical choices - Engineers profesional ethics - Aspects of computer ethics - In a small essay/report analyze an ethically relevant technical problem.Course literature: According to literature list. | ||
