Aim: Knowledge of design and realization of digital CMOS circuits.Course organization: The course consist of lectures, exercises and laboratory work.Course content: MOSFET, electrical and geometrical properties. The MOS transistor as switch, combinatiorial circuits in CMOS technique. BICMOS, and GaAs. Bistable circuits and memories. Clocking of circuits, one- and two-phase clocking. Logic styles: static CMOS logic, Domino, NORA, TSPC, Zipper, DCVS and CPL. Latches, flip-flops, shift registers, PLA, basic logic and arithmetic blocks.
