Aim: The course shall give knowledge of the construction of a robot, sensor technique and programming technique. The kinematics of the industrial robot plays a main role. The course shall also give knowledge of the development in the field of sensors and of modern techniques for programming of systems based upon graphic modelling/simulation.Prerequisites: The development of manipulators, industrial robots and robots. The distribution of robots within different sectors of trade and industry. Development The diffusion of robots into different sectors in industry. Development trends in robot technology. Robot Kinematics Drive train for robots Control of robots Explicit and implicit programming of robots Robot oriented, object oriented and goal oriented programming Programming with graphic simulation of the robot and workcell Force/torque-sensors, tactile sensors and robot vision AI-applications and research in the robot technology fieldCourse organization: Type of teaching is lectures and laboratory work.
