| Aim: To get real contact with applied measurements by analysis of an industrial measurement system in close contact with nearby industries.Prerequisites: TFMÄ 05 Sensor technology, TFMÄ 02 Computerised measurement systems, TFMÄ 12 Theory of measurement systems.Course organization: The course starts with lectures, experiments and PBL with content and questions of relevance for measurements of the joining industries. During the second part the measurement system should be analyzed in project form. The investigation shall result in a written report and an oral presentation with a critical analysis of the measurement system with proposals of improvements. Course content: Depends on involved industries. Examples are Braviken paper mill, The technical department of the community (water, distant heating, sewage water treating, waste burning), Ericsson (electronics), FOA (defence reserach institute), ARLA (food industry) During the first part necessary theory is treated to prepare for the following analysis.Course literature: Articles, own literature searching | ||
