Aim:
To give knowledge of methods and instrumentation for measuring mainly electrical but also non electrical quantities, and awareness about problems and disturbancies that can show up.

Prerequisites:
TSEI 47 Circuit theory, TSEI 55 Analog Electronic Circuits

Course organization:
Lectures and experimental work.

Course content:
Methods and instrumentation for measuring electrical quantities; voltage, current, frequency, power, component values. Sensors for measuring some non electrical quantities. Origin of electrical disturbancies and methods to reduce them by proper shielding and grounding.

Course literature:
Instructions for the experiments, compendium and excerpts from articles and books.
