Aim: To give basic knowledge of digital image processing (imaging/image reconstruction, image handling and image analysis) and give examples of applications and system solutions.Prerequisites: TSIT 64, Signal Theory Y or TSIT 66, Signal Theory D.Course content: Introduction: Overview, Digital images. Models for image processing and analysis. Problem areas and applications. Twodimensional signal processing: Signal and frequency domain in two dimensions. 2D-Fourier transform and 2D FFT.
