	Aim: The aim of this course is to give knowledge on chemical industry. The part a chemical engineer has in industry and in society. Fundamental skill in project work, written and oral reports. Prerequisites: Chemistry from upper secondary school. Supplementary courses: None Course organization: The course has lectures and seminars. It also includes project work that is reported in writing and orally, and study visits inside the region. Course content: Chemical industrial processes and history. The project work will include getting information and presenting one of the processes of current interest. Special attention will be paid to environmental issues.
