Aim:
The course gives basic knowledge on methods for analysis of electronic circuits and discrete-time systems both in the time and frequency plane.

Course content:
Direct current theory: Current and voltage supplies. Kirchoffs laws. Norton«s theorem. Linearity and superposition. Alternating current theory: jw-method. Impedance and admittance. Resonance. Tuning. Power and energy. Fourier, Z, and Laplace transformations. Circuit analysis. Bode diagrams. Modified admittance method. SPICE. Continuous and discrete-time signals and systems. Transfer functions, frequency response. Sampling.
