Aim:
The course in multidimensional calculus will give the students the ability to carry out calculations frequently encountered in technical applications.

Prerequisites:
TNDE 21, TNDE 23

Course organization:
The teaching consists of lectures followed by lessons with problemsolving guided by a teacher.

Course content:
Multidimensional calculus: Multivalued functions. Partial Derivates and the chain rule. Taylor's formula and extreme values. Maximum and minimum. Optimizations with constraints. Double and tripple integrals. Change of variables in multiple integrals. Vector algebra and vector analysis. Scalar- and vector fields. Gradient, divergence and curl. Nabla-calculus. Line- and surface-integrals. Conservative vector fields. Green's formula. Gauss' and Stoke's theorems.
