Aim:
The course shall give a basic knowledge in discrete-time signal processing. This knowledge shall then be a plattform for studies in the applied parts of signal processing. You shall be able to calculate different types of time-discrete filters and work with linear systems in the frequency domain.

Prerequisites:
TNDE23 Statistics and transforms.

Course organization:
Lectures, exercises and laboratory work. Course c ontent: Time-domain analysis. Frequency-domain analysis. The z-transform. Design of nonrecursive and recursive time discrete filters. The discrete and the fast fourier transforms. FFT-processing.
