Prerequisites: General admission to the M program.Course organization: The course begins with an introduction to drawing techniques, with exercises in sketching and planning. The next section introduces the use of computer based tools, including CAD.Course content: The computer as a tool. Information management and searching for information using tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, and the Internet. Drawing techniques: Drawing basics with special emphasis on understanding views, cross sections, and projections. Introduction to dimensioning.
