Aim:
The purpose of the course is to provide broad, in-depth knowledge within the field of hydromechanical power transmissions. It provides the basis for both dimensioning and designing systems, as well as for calculating and designing components. The approach treats both the mobile and industrial sectors. Considerable time is devoted to dynamic considerations. Modern tools of analysis in the form of simulation programs are used. Computer-based input and control are studied.

Prerequisites:
TMHP20 Fluid power systems TSRT15 Automatic Control M.

Course organization:
Instruction is carried out in the form of lectures, classes and laboratory exercises.

Course content:
Hydraulic machinery: Constructive structure of various types of pump engines. Design and pressure balance of the dense surface. Loss analyses: efficiency models. Control units for variable hydraulic machinery. Dynamic properties of hydraulic machinery. Systems: mobile and industrial applications. Fully hydraulic and hydromechanical transmissions - principles of automatic controls and dynamic properties. Servo systems for control of rotation speed and moment. Simulation of transmission system.
