| Aim: The course should provide the student knowledge concerning some modern physical measurement- and analysis-methods.Prerequisites: TFFY17 Modern Physics and TFFM03 Physical Laboratory work, introductory course. TFFY70 Physics of Condensed Matter is desirable. Course organization: A short lecture series introduces this course.Course content: The introductory lectures treat subjects such as crystal structure and diffraction, radioactivity, the interaction of ionised radiation with matter, radiation detection and protection. Subjects from primarily the courses Modern Physics, Physics of Condensed Matter and Wave Motion are treated in this series of laboratory work. | ||
