Aim:
The course aims to give the participants a more advanced understanding of business and economic activities at the enterprise as well as approaches to a problem and skills in some methods. The course is an optional subject. It must together with the Industrial Economics, basic course, TEIE 57, give knowledge comparable with Basic Course in Industrial Economics for I, TEIE 08.

Prerequisites:
TEIE 57 Industrial Economics, basic course for Y, D, and C.

Course organization:
The course literature is presented during lectures. Its application is exercised in general seminars. A compulsory practical case is included. It has to be solved by the group (5 persons/group) and presented both in written and oral form. The practical case will be introduced in the compulsory lecture.

Course content:
Industrial market strategies and processes of change at industrial enterprises. Technical strategies and technology bases of industrial enterprises. Total Quality Management and Quality function Deployment (the method that translates the customers' demand for the concrete product). Knowledge of methods in commercial assessment and conjoint analysis.thod knowledge in commercial assessment and conjoint analysis.

TEN 1An oral examination.
PRA 1A compulsory practical case assignment that must be solved by a group of 2-4 students. The examiner can replace the examination with a graded assignment.
