Aim: The course deals with analytic functions. It will give proficiency in analytic function theory in order to treat problems in fluid mechanics, theoretical mechanics and physics. Prerequisites: Calculus M and Algebra M.Course organization: Teaching is done in lectures and problem classes.Course content: Functional series. Pointwise and uniform convergence. Integration and differentiation of functional series. Complex numbers. The concept of analytic function. harmonic functions. Elementary analytic functions. Line integrals. Cauchy's integral theorem. Taylor and Laurent series. Calculus of residues. The argument principle. Conformal mappings.
