Registration for Examination - Search the Examination Database

To see when the written examinations of a course take place you can search the examination database: http://www4.student.liu.se/tentasearch/en/.

The following notations are being used:

• ** marks examinations given for the second last time
• * marks examinations given for the last time

Registration for written examinations is made in the Student Portal.

Written examinations are usually available three times every year according to these simple rules:

• A course given during the first study period of the spring semester is examined directly after the course has finished in March, and then in the re-take examination periods in June and in August.
• A course given during the second study period of the spring semester is examined directly after the course has finished in May, and then in the re-take examination periods in August and October.
• A course given during the first study period of the autumn semester is examined directly after the course has finished in October, and then in the re-take examination periods in January and August.
• A course given during the second study period of the autumn semester is examined directly after the course has finished in January, and then in the re-take examination periods at Easter and in August.
