2007 COMPUTER SCIENCE
Aim The aim of the programme is to provide the student with both breadth and depth in computer science so the student can pursue a career as researchers in computer science.
Composition of the Programme The programme consists of four semesters (two years) of studies for a Master of Science. The first two and a half semesters are occupied by courses. During the one and a half last semester the student will undertake a research project concluding with the open presentation of a final thesis.
The Content of the Programme Students are expected to design their own curriculum to cater to their particular interest and background. The selected programme curriculum must contain courses offered via the National Graduate School in Computer Science (CUGS) at Linkvpings universitetto a total of approximately 45 ECTS, of which 30 ECTS are from the CUGS Core courses and 15 ECTS from the CUGS Advanced courses. An additional elective of basic and advanced courses from the Computer Science and Engineering curriculum are also offered.
