Aim: The main topics in the course are: -analog filter theory -realisation with passive LC-filter -realisation with active RC-filter Prerequisites: TSEI 47 Circuit Theory.Course organization: Lectures, lessons, and laboratory work.Course content: Basic terminology; transfer function, magnitude function, phase, group delay, step and impulse response, poles and zeros. Signals and models, specification of filters, approximation theory, frequency transformations. Passive LC-filters; doubly resistive terminated LC-filters, filter structures, LP-HP, LP-BP, LP-BS transformations, all-pass filters. Active RC-filters: second-order sections, realisation in cascade form, immitance simulations, active wave filters, topological simulations of LC-filters. Transconductance filters.
