| Aim: Ability to analyze and synthesize digital circuits in CMOS technique.Prerequisites: Digital CircuitsCourse organization: The course consists of lectures, laboratory work and project work.Course content: CAD and design methodology. Design of large integrated circuits. Clock generation and distribution. Design for test. Scan-based test and BIST. Input and output circuitry. Layout. Simulation on switch-level and electrical level. Characterization and performance estimation. Packaging. Design of arithmetic units, ROM, RAM.
