Aim: The aim of the course is to give knowledge on the principles and methods of computer generation of synthetic images, animations and interactive graphical applications.Prerequisites: Linear algebra. Programming knowledge.Course organization: Lectures and lab exercises.Course content: Application areas. Display units. Generation of primitives: lines, curves, filled areas. Raster graphics: frame buffer, scan conversion, color table. Twodimensional graphics: geometric transformations, window, viewport, clipping. Threedimensional graphics: object representations, geometric transformations, projection, perspective, hidden surface removal. Realism: illumination models, raytracing, radiosity. Color science.
