| Aim: This course will give a general overview of the theoretical basis and principles for the common electrical measurements, as well as practical experience of the use of common instruments. Finally, it gives the ability to selects measurement method and equipments, and to analyse measurement results. Course organization: The course encompass 30 h of lectures and 32 h of laboratory work. Also some preparations at home will be required. In prepration for a lecture, the student should read vaguely the text to be described. Afterwards, he/she should study the same material. A small part of the text, required for highest grade, is not described at the lectures. Prehand preparations to the laboratory work is also required. Course content: Basic electrical measurement concepts. Amplifiers. Analog and Digital instruments. Instruments for measurment of time and frequency. Function- and pulse- generators. Digital and analog oscilloscopes. Disturbances. The Computer in measurment systems. GPIB. Transducers.Assessment: | ||
| The couse content is divided in two categories: A=Main part, B=Extension. For the grade VG will be required also the supplemental material in B. | ||
