| Aim: To give the students basic knowledge in the use of information technology for image rendering and production of printed material.Prerequisites: TNM005 Computer Graphics or TNM035 Digital Images and Internet TechnologyCourse organization: Lectures, lab exercises and project work.Course content: Historical background. Application areas. Paper and print. Digital printing methods. Rendering of monochrome images in print - halftoning. Optical and digital rasters. Colour science: colour processing in the human visual system, colormetrics, colour representations, colour standards, colour rendering. Colour halftoning. Digitizing colour images.
