| Aim: The course aims at an overview of the technical function of vehicles in the dynamic interaction with human beings in their roles as drivers, passengers or travellers not on-board. The effects from vehicle use on people and on the environment are illustrated with currently known scientific relationships and with examples of controlling actions. Models and methods for analysis of injury risks, driver interaction, accuracy of motion control, energy demand and transportation efficiency are introduced for road, railroad, water- and airborne vehicles.
