Aim: The course will give the student the necessary tool for electric circuit analysis. The topics dealt with in this course introduce the student to the basic topics needed for further education in the fields of electrical engineering technology, including electronics, electrical machines, measurement technology and power electronics.Supplementary courses: Electronics, Measurement Technology, Electric Machinery and Power Electronics.Course organization: The teaching consists of lectures, exercises and laboratory work.Course content: DC circuits: Simple resistive circuits. General resistive networks. Network theorems. AC circuits: Basic definitions. Phasor representation of sinusoidal AC waveforms. The j operator. The impedance bridge. Resonance. Power and energy. Power factor correction. Introduction to magnetism. Inductance. Mutually coupled circuits. RC- and RL- and RLC-circuits. Three-phase circuits. Measurment technology: Basic definitions.
