| Aim: The course intends to give basic, theoretical and practical knowledge about Geographic Information Systems (GIS).Course organization: The teaching consists of lectures/exercise and a projektwork.Course content: Basical terms and conception. GIS-applications. Geografical databases in Sweden. Different GIS-programme. Data collection as surveying, GPS, photogrammetry, remote sensing, scanning and digitizing maps. Database implementation.
