| Aim: The course intends to give basic knowledges about soil ability to perform standard analysis of soil mechanics and evaluate field investigations.Course organization: The teaching consists of lectures and a project.Course content: A geologic description of the origin of rocks and soils. Investigation of the geotechnical caracteristics of soils. Methods for investigation of the ground. Analysis of the settlement and stability of buildings and roads. A project including a field investigation and geotechnical analysis.Course literature: Will be decided later on. | ||
