| Aim: The course intends to give basic knowledge in building materials, physical science applied to building technology, and structural engineering.Course content: Building materials : Concrete as a structural material, concrete making, concreting and curing, testing and control . Light concrete, wood, brick and isulation materials. Heat : Heat transfer and thermal insulation. Moisture : The source of moisture, moisture in the building materials and moisture transfer.
