TMMS10 | Fluid Power Systems and Transmissions, 4 p (sw) /Fluida system och transmissioner/ Advancement level: D | |
Aim: The course is intended to give a broad knowledge in hydraulic system design. Especially, hydro-mechanical transmissions are treated. The course gives a base for dimensioning and building of systems. This option concerns both the mobile and industrial sector, and also automation technology. Modern tools for analyses in form of simulation program are used. In this course most of the time is spent on dynamic properties. In several parts of the course are questions regarding market, production techniques and economy discussed. Environmental aspects and possibilities of ergonomically suitable solutions will also be penetrated. Prerequisites: TMHP20 Fluid Power Systems, TSRT15 Automatic Control M Supplementary courses: Supplementary courses TMMS05 Project course in Mechanical Engineering systemsCourse organization: The teaching consists of lectures, lessons and laboratory exercisesCourse content: Hydraulics Hydraulic machines: Design of different types of pumps and motors. Analyses of losses and efficiency models. Control actuators for variable displacement machines. Dynamic properties of hydraulic machines. Transmission systems: Mobile and industrial applications. Completely hydraulic and hydro mechanical divided types of transmissions - principles of automatic control and dynamic charac-teristics. Servo systems for control of shaft speed and torque. Simulation of transmission drive systems. Valve controlled systems: Steady state and dynamic properties of pressure and flow control valves. Mobile and industrial applications.
