| Aim: The student shall acquire knowledge about industrial design, as a concept and as a professional activity. The student shall develop his ability to shape and visualize form, by pictures and models adopted through work with multiple techniques of visualizing. The aim is also to increase the students ability to analyse form.Prerequisites: TMKT85 Industrial DesignSupplementary courses: Ergonomics and DesignCourse organization: The basic content is given in lectures, and during supervised exercises the students are trained to understand and perform industrial design, product analysis and techniques of visualizing.Course content: Industrial design as a concept. Basic cromatics. Visual shaping. Product semantics and design aesthetics. Studies, analysis of and experiments with shape- and colourcompositions. Product analysis. Perspective pictures, views and modells produced with drawing-tools and modelling material.Course literature: Information at the start of the course. | ||
