Aim: The course should give the students an orientation of how engineering biology/biotechnology can be used in various applications. Another goal is also to give the students a clear idea of the aim of the study programme "Engineering Biology" and also motivate the content and structure of the different courses in the programme.Course organization: The course consists of lectures with experts from various areas of engineering biology and biotechnology.Course content: Biotechnology and engineering biology in the society.
