| Aim: The objective of the course is to give the student knowledge of how measurement technology is involved in the environmental protection/care work. Environmental monitoring programmes are central in the course. An overview of the use and possibilities of environmental measurement technology and an insight into research in the area will be given. Prerequisites: Environmental Science and Environmental Technology preferred but not compulsory.Supplementary courses: TFMJ 05 Environmentally Sustainable Materials TFMJ 06 Environmental Management Strategies TFMJ 07 Life Cycle Assessment and Ecodesign TFMJ 08 Environmental Impact AssessmentCourse organization: The course includes lectures, laboratory work and a project work.Course content: Fundamental environmental measurement technologies.
