| Aim: This course will combine many previously learned aspects of chemically engineering through the study of the design of complete industrial processes. The basis of the course will be commercial simulation software for modelling chemical engineering processes. Environmental and economic aspects will be considered.Prerequisites: TFKI xx Heat transfer, TFKI xx Fluid mechanics, TFKI 08 Separation processes, TFKI 25 Reaction engineeringCourse organization: Lectures, computer tutorials and project workCourse content: Flowsheeting program for material and energy balances of industrial processes. Discussion of thermodynamic data, economic analysis and environmental safety.
