| Aim: The value of purchased raw material, components and services often stands for more than 50 % of a company´s turnover. This, together with high demands om cost efficiency in the material flow, shorter product life cycles and increasing internationalisation leads to higher demands for competence within the purchasing function arises.Prerequisites: TETS 15 Basic Logistics M or TETS 07 Basic Logistics I TEIE 94 Civil and commercial Law I or TEIE 97 Civil and commercial Law MCourse organization: Lectures given by people from the university and from the industryCourse content: Roles of purchasing (rationalisation, resource coordination, supplier relations) Purchasing strategy (supplier evolution, purchasing organisation, purchasing structure) International purchasing (search for supplier, offset business, cultural differences) Purchasing law (public purchase, standard contracts, incoterms, documentary credits) Negotiation techniques (strategy and tactics, management, follow-up)Course literature: Will be decided later. | ||
