| Aim: The course shall provide deeper knowledge of principles of organization and conditions of development and innovation in corporations. Prerequisites: TEIO 33 Industrial Management or TEIO 35 Industrial ManagementSupplementary courses: TEIO 39 Leadership and Organizational Change TEIO 50 Industrial Project ManagementCourse organization: The course starts with lectures and readings on various conceptualizations of corporate development and management in order to provide the participants with a basic knowledge of relevant theories. The main part of the course takes place in a two days' internship during which the participants work with models and cases. Guests may be invited.Course content: Conditions for company survival. Corporate governance under various conditions. The consequences of leadership, structural design and strategies on the business situation. The impact of various leadership styles.
