| Aim: The aim of the course is to provide a busines and management oriented holistic view of IT as a strategic resource in business and government. Prerequisites: TDEI 36 Economic Information System (beginners course).Course organization: The course is given as a series of lectures, seminars, and includes projects. Course content: With a current trend (presently web-technology and the Internet, intranets and extranets) as a starting point the course discusses strategic importance, influence on business and organisation, current applications and commercial possibilities. Based on case studies and the experience of course participants the chain from vision to implementation is studied. Emphasis is placed on turning strategy into action. In connection with this, project management, risk management and perspectives management in projects is discussed.Course literature: According to later instructions. | ||
