| Förkunskaper: TNK070 Active and Passive Safety in Road Traffic, TNK071 Deterministic Modeling and Simulation or TNG022 Modellbygge och simuleringOrganisation: Lecture, case study reports from lessons, laboratory exercises and study tours.Kursinnehåll: Students will apply their knowledge from the courses TNK070 and TNK071 to analyse vehicle motions in the transition from normal driving to emergency manoeuvres and collisions. Measurement methods and concepts (such as friction) are studied to illustrate the limitations in reliability and validity of reported data from accidents and driving tests. Calculation and computer simulation of vehicle motions i various situations will make it possible to quantify safety-relevant properties of the driver-vehicle system and to reconstruct accidents.Kurslitteratur: Lectures notes and reprinst distributes by course organizers. Internet files (www.lennarts.net). Computer program manuals (e.g. Matlab) and accident investigation literature to be announced. Documents may be used from TNK070 and TNK071. | ||
